Physical therapy helps restore function, improve mobility and relieve pain after many conditions such as surgical procedures, sports injuries, arthritis, fractures, sprains/strains and balance impairments.

Physical therapists examine a patient's medical history, then test and measure strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, posture, muscle performance and other parameters that may be related to your condition.
Once these tasks are accomplished, the physical therapist will develop a treatment strategy and advise the patient on its purpose and anticipated outcome.

On August 8th, I had surgery on my torn ACL, LCL, and broken fibula.  I began with Activa on August 16th.  I've seen awesome progress ever since.  I am bending at 140 degress, comfortably walking on a treadmill, and I am off crutches.  I am extremely happy with my progress, and I credit Activia for bringing me to this point.

Vanessa Tory is a great, professional physical therapist who gives the extra care per patient. I went for 2 years, weekly for neuromas treatment and received excellent pain management. Vanessa has years of experience and love the privacy of her Murray HIll suite. Never felt rushed or steered towards unnecessary treatments.
If you are looking for and excellent, trustworthy, professional physical therapist, look no further.

Vanessa Tory is very special. She creates an atmosphere in her office that is welcoming and warm.  It is obvious that she cares about her patients and is very "hands on." Ten years ago I went to her with a "frozen" shoulder. In a very short time I had my mobility back, thanks to Vanessa. When I began to have difficulty with my back I knew that Vanessa was the therapist for me. After just a few sessions I am beginning to feel better and stronger.  Thank you Vanessa!
